About.

Hi! How are you? I am a multi instrumentalist, songwriter and teacher based in Manchester, UK.

I grew up in West Yorkshire and was nursed on a diet of musical theatre, choral and orchestral music and punk rock. I came over to Manchester at some point to study music at the University of Manchester, graduating with a 2:1, before undertaking a PGCE in Secondary Music at Manchester Metropolitan University and the Royal Northern College of Music.

I now divide my time between playing both covers and original music, fronting the original band 'XMenBTeam' and playing keys in 'The Ragamuffins'.

As a function musician, I regularly play solo, duo and full band gigs across the country, with 'The CG Band', an alpine party band, as well as being a haus musician at the North West's premiere music venue, Albert's Schloss.

I am also heavily involved in education. I currently work as a peripetetic singing teacher with Wigan Music Service, working with young people of all ages, from primary school to sixth form and beyond.

Recently, I've decided to broaden my horizons and start a new career as a voice actor.

I have had some success in this burgeoning career, with a multiple character role in the Greenlands' original radio production of 'The Sisters of the Middle Sun', as well as various radio drops for Reform Radio in Manchester.

Examples of my work can be found here.
